Creating Custom Vendor Role and Center
Hey All,
I was looking for some guidance on how to roll our own custom role and center with some best practices. So far, I have everything up and running, however there a few things I would like to obscure from each vendor, but I'm not entirely sure how to accomplish this.
I have allowed the Vendor Role access to items with the intention they will have access to certain fields in the future. However, when I log in under any vendor, they can see ALL the items within our system through navigation. How can I limit the items to just that vendor? One way I was thinking of accomplishing this is to layer a custom record on top of items and just give them access to this record instead. I'm not sure what the best practice here would be, but it seems like a lot of work to accomplish something so
