Inventory on Hand is Different in Two Places for Same Items
Hi everybody,
Many items in our database are exhibiting extremely bizarre behavior. The problem is that the # shown for the on hand value on the item record is vastly different from the # shown on the inventory adjustment screen. We don't know what kinds of problems this may cause but we suspect it will become a huge problem.
For example, item X shows 199 pieces on hand on it's item record. If you go to Transactions -> Inventory -> Adjust Inventory and type in item X this screen shows there is 0 pieces on hand.
The only common factor I've seen so far is that the items exhibiting this kind of inconsistency are matrix subitems, however the set of item options selected on the item record are irrelevant.
