Bin management in warehouse
due to some serious miscommunication between departments, my warehouse crew stopped paying attention to bin location and managements around the first of the year. Due to this, our bin counts and our on hand counts are quite skewed.
The limitations of bin management that we face is that we cannot move items from one bin to another within the warehouse, without having them on a transaction. We have found that the bin count and the on hand counts are completely independent of one another, yet we cannot relieve the bin count independently of the on hand, even though we can do the opposite.
