The web store is not accessible under IE7

At the weekend a friend of mine was prompted by his PC to update to ie7 which he did. Upon doing so he was unable to access our webstore any more. It was only after he downloaded a patch that that access was restored. Is this problem unique?

If it is not unique then it could be a serious problem as I doubt lots of people would go hunting for the patch. That means that many potential customers will not be able to access our site.
