CRMSDK tags in subject of email with PDF attachment

Here's the scenario:
[LIST=1]
[*]Email message with HTML template
[*]Subject line has a crmsdk tag, a VERY long one
[*]attached is a PDF[/LIST]When the email arrives the filename of the PDF has the raw, un-merged subject as a filename.  This looks terrible when a recipient sees a filename like:
"CMN Request for <NLCUSTRECORD_PHYSORD_MU_PROD_SHORTNAME<_123.pdf"

Terrible.

Anyone else ran into this problem?
