Checkout with Credit Card failing

Hi THere,

We are having a major issue - checkouts with a credit card as payment are failing at the review and submit page with a message ;

Reason: An error occurred while processing the credit card. Please contact the merchant for assistance.

Everything was fine, I have checked our payment processor and that appears to be OK.

PayPal transactions go through fine.

Has anyone got any ideas?
