Unable to add zip file to File Cabinet

I'm a brand-new user. I tried to add a zip file of item images to the File Cabinet with advanced add. I have the Unzip file box checked and the file itself is only 35MB. Nothing happened after the browser said my file uploaded. I tried this in both Firefox and Chrome, and most recently with a 9MB file--same (lack of) results every time. Is there something I'm missing?
