Invoice and Cash Sale Save Problem

I am having a problem re-saving some Cash Sales and Invoices in NetSuite. They save initially, but if I go back in to edit I get the message "This record cannot be deleted, because it is referred to by other records." as if i were trying to delete it. I didn't hit delete though I hit save. It only happens on some records not all Invoices and Cash Sales. Does any one know what is going on?
