Scheduled Saved Search (Alert) and Workflows Based on Saved Searches Not Triggering

Is anyone else having issues with scheduled saved searches not running or workflows triggering?
We had a lot of issues with this a couple weeks ago after NetSuite performed an e-fix on 7/11...Simple saved searches which send results via email or which trigger workflows were timing out and not working. After the major NetSuite outage on 7/15 all of issues were magically resolved (although according to NetSuite support they didn't fix anything and can't explain why things started working again).
We're starting to experience the same issues again. The same saved search alerts and workflows (triggered from saved searches) which have been in place for years are starting to run inconsistently and simply never fire due to timeouts...Not sending results from saved searches on the once a day schedule and workflows simply never running because they aren't being triggered from the saved search.
