Telephony Integration

I wasn't sure which section of the forum to post this under. I am looking for information about Netsuite's telephony integration, and examples of companies using this feature (also what phone systems are being used).

Netsuite's documentation says that it enables a user to simply click on a number in netsuite and the user's phone will automatically dial the number.

What I am interested in however is whether netsuite's telephony integration also includes features for incoming calls? For example, you receive a call from a client and their record is automatically brought up in netsuite.

I remember seeing in the old forums a post about someone who had written their own application that took the phone number of the incoming call and automatically posted it into the global search field in order to pull up records. Is this sort of solution still the only way to have screen pop type functionality in netsuite?
