2010.2: 2 week gap between beta and go live?
Hi,
I've been scheduled a 2 week gap between by 2010.2 beta Release Preview access and the date I go live?
Does anyone else think this is a strange way to do Release Preview/Beta testing? Effectively we are not allowed to test the final code prior to going live.
This effectively means that I'm going blind into our release day since there will be a minimum of 2 updates to the system (and potentially 10 - 14 if patches are applied daily) between my last day of testing and when we go live.
Considering the amount of change in this release and the initial problems we have experienced, I am very, very uncomfortable with the upcoming upgrade.
