Is there a way to automatically disable the "Include Transactions" by default box?

With the new release, we are now seeing every single email from a transaction including an HTML copy attached to the email.  We put internal notes on a lot of our transactions that we do not necessarily want our customers to see.  Is there a way to make it so this is default unchecked?  It used to be default unchecked, and now it is default checked, but I can't see any way for us to change that.
