Creating Rev rec JE's very slow

Since the new release it seems that generating the rev rec JE's is slower than slow...  we do 15k of these at the end of the month, our accounting team is none too happy!  They are reporting 5-10 minutes to process 100, and estimate it will take two days to complete them, which is just plain unacceptable.

Anyone else having trouble with this???
