Tracking Numbers

When you type a tracking number into the tracking number box of the item fulfillment screen, NL changed in ver 2008.2 so that the hyperlinked tracking number no longer goes to the carrier and actually tracks the package (NL used to work this way). Now you get a page not found error. Also the email the customer receives is no longer a hyperlink.
NL Support is now calling this an enhancement request and not a defect?
Is it to much to ask that a tracking number actually tracks a package in a $40k software system?
