UPS End of Day Manifest
So, I went live with netsuite a week ago and there were some "fires" that started that i wasnt expecting. Im wondering how other people have handled this.
I was previously creating all of my shipping labels through UPS Worldship, and at the end of the day there was a button you pressed called "End of Day" that printed out a thermal label with 1 barcode on it that allowed the UPS Driver to scan all of the packages in at once in bulk as opposed to scanning each shipping label in as it goes on the truck.
Since i started printing integrated UPS labels through netsuite, i have found 3 orders that physically left on the truck but now show "dead" tracking numbers that were created through netsuite. Apparently my UPS Driver was not scanning in the Netsuite created labels 1 by 1, and they were somehow making it through the UPS hub without ever getting scanned and activated on the ups.com website. So the tracking number does not ever show that it was picked up.
