Saved Search has no results - what am I missing?

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:29AM in Search / Reporting 4 comments

Hi all

I am in the process of setting up NetSuite/JCurve for go live in a couple of weeks. I have created a saved search for my sales team to allow them to see what stock is due into the warehouse based on open purchase orders. I have then set the search up as a list view on the sales dashboard that I have created. The problem is when I run it as a sales user (a role I have created) it is saying there is 'No Data Available'. It works perfectly for me in the admin role.

The only way I can get it to work is to give the sales role permission to 'View' the Purchase Order transactions - then it works fine. However, I dont want our sales team to have access to our POs. I thought from reading the user guide that if I made the saved search 'Public', which I have done, all users would be able to access it.

Howdy, Stranger!
