Images in dense lists?

I'm working on this page currently trying to work on some of the flow of the website.

How do I get rid of the options column on a dense category list?  Also, is there anyway to add an image?  I see "Dense List Images" in the Image Resizing section.  Anyone?  Please help?  It's diving me nuts.
