Currency and Language change in one

Can anyone help me on this code? Its some Ajax code that should change both the currency and language when a link is clicked on our website. The code works in FireFox, but not correctly in IE. In Firefox, it changes the language and currency correctly and reloads the page. In IE it only changes the currency and then reloads the page. I tried swaping and even removing the currency line but it still wont change the language. Whats weird though, that i just found is that it will change between German and French, but wont change back to English,
