Gift Certificates -MASS/BULK CREATION (Groupon Style)
Hi, I have been looking for a week or two now the answer to whether or not I can create, on mass, gift certificates.
The answer.... IT CAN BE DONE without scripting.
Follow these steps.
1. Goto Setup > Accounting > Set Up Accounting
2. Click the Items/Transactions tab
3. At the bottom in the 'Other Item Preferences' change Gift Certificate Auth Code Generation' to System Generated from what is probably Add On Item. This means the system will generate the code once the order has been billed.
4. Create the Gift Certificate Group by going to Lists > Accounting > Gift Certificates and selecting New at the bottom.
