Advanced Promotions - Set Order Total - No $ ???

So setting up a promotion with the advanced promotions. We'd like to have a 50% discount applied to a batch of items when the order total is over $x.

NS makes it look like I can do this, but when in the criteria I go to "set order total" there is a dropdown displayed with shows only "units".  You'd think there would be the option to set a minimum dollar amount?  Is this just a list option I need to fix somewhere?
