Canada Tax updates effective April 1, 2013

On April 1, 2013, two Canadian provinces will implement changes to their tax systems. These provinces are British Colombia and Prince Edward Islands. The changes are:

1) British Colombia will revert to GST/PST system
2) Prince Edward Islands will harmonize its provincial sales tax with GST and implement Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)
