Show Total Shipping Weight on Transactions

Is there a way to include a field in the SHIPPING tab of Estimates, Sales Orders and Invoices that shows the total shipping weight of the order?

This would be a field that cannot be changed, for information purposes only that will be updated automatically as items and quantities are updated, or even updated when the "Calculate" link is pressed.

Sometimes we need the total shipping weight of the order and we now have to do it manually, meaning we have to open each item on the order, look up the weight and add them.

The total shipping weight of the order being displayed in the SHIPPING tab would be great.
