Partner Commissions
We are working with a software company that has it's international resellers sell their product, collect the cash and then remit the net difference of gross sales less commission back to the software vendor.
For example the international partner sells $1,000 worth of software with a 20% commission. They would invoice the client in the local country and collect the money. They then remit to the software company a cheque in the amount of $800 which represents their commissions already deducted.
The software company is using NetSuite's Incentive Management module and wants to be able to track the gross sale to the end customer as well as track the commissions paid to the international reseller.
