Rev Rec with Class?

Is it possible to categorize items for Sale by class, and then when using revenue recognition, have the appropriate amounts show up in the P&L by Class?

Obviously if you bill an item, where class is specified on the row, the amount will show up on the P&L in the appropriate class.

But if you use rev rec on a similar invoice, it's unclassified.

Am I missing something?
