Close / Cancel and billed sales order?

Does anybody know if there is any way to cancel a sales order than has been billed. We have orders that need to be "cancelled" two months after they have been billed. We are issuing credit memos for the invoices (which takes care of revenue), but the issue is that the sales orders still show up in 'booked sales by sales rep' etc.

Our management wants them to disappear, but there does not seem to be a way to 'cancel' a billed sales order. Any ideas?
