Changing Sales Order after its Billed
Many of the products we make are custom items, made to order. Because of this, we use bill in advance of fulfillment, and take full payment on those items before we manufacture and ship them.
Occasionally a customer will contact us after placing and paying for an order and request changes be made before we finish manufacturing.
So far the only method we've found for changing the sales order, is to delete the Invoice, make the change, and then re-bill it.
I feel like there must be a better method. Especially when there is no price difference only a change in color or some other option.
