Firstname and Lastname gets combined to Firstname field of Contact record when registering/signing-u

We are using Reference Checkout 2.04 on SCA, and we realised that users who signs up on the Registration form of Reference Checkout have their names combined in the Firstname field of Contact record created. This leaves the Middlename and Lastname blank.

Not sure if this is happening to everyone. Is this a bug or we are just missing some configuration/adjustment?
