Commission based on gross profit cheats sales reps by excluding profitable sales?
Folks,
We work in a low-margin industry, and we're trying to compensate our sales reps according to gross profit, not by sale amount. Unfortunately, NetSuite's not returning sensible results in the estimated commission report - a lot of the sales orders that generated profit are not being listed as commissionable sales.
I've had S2 case 859505 open for over 45 days, and myself and my reps are beginning to lose hope that this will ever be fixed. I'm in the awkward position of advancing them estimated commissions so that they can feed their families, but none of us are really sure what the right numbers are!
