Yipee!! - How to Add a Where Used Tab to Items
I finally figured out how to do something that's been killing me forever: do where used lookups from items. My workaround in the past was to have a separate search, so I had to leave the item screen to run a search. However, it is possible to attach a where used search to a sublist so I can click on a tab inside the item to see all assemblies the item is used on. Here's a step-by-step guide to how I did it:[LIST=1]
[*]Reports > New Search > Item > Create Saved Search
[*]Available Filters > Filter > 'Component Item', leave 'show in footer' off (don't know if footer is important, this is just the way I did it)
