Last purchase price effected by landed cost
I am trying to use landed cost to attach duties and shipping to my item receipts.
We had been using "last purchase price" as a good indication if the purchase price of an item is correct comparing it to the last time we payed for it.
But found that using landed cost added this cost to the last purchase price. So when making a PO the last purchase price is higher then the last price we payed the vendor.
I don't think landed cost should effect "last purchase price" I do agree it should effect the average cost of the item. I mean last purchase price sounds like the price your payed the vendor, not the cost including shipping. If it was call "last cost price" that might be more clear.
