Reorder Point Calculation

I'm having difficulty understanding how NS is calculating the reorder point.  I have read the pdf "Configuring Advanced Inventory for Auto-Calculation" and I'm still not able to reproduce the values calculated by NS.

I have the preference "Use lead time and safety stock per warehouse" checked.
My order analysis interval is set to 6 months.
I have transactions to consider set to 'orders'.

Now on the item records:
Lead time:  I leave "auto-calculate" unchecked and manually enter 67 for a particular location.
Safety Stock Level Days:  I leave this empty and enter 48 for the location.  I assume here that when Safety Stock is entered per location it is in units and not days.  This is what the help pages seem to indicate and also some of the previous newsgroup threads.
