Units of Measure - Updating Prices

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:36AM in Accounting / ERP 1 comment

I am trying to create an elegant way of keeping inventory item prices correct during price updates where units of measure (UOM) are used.

For example.
ITEM-A is setup with UOM of type "Metres".  Purchase Unit = "20M", Sale Unit = "Metre"
Prices are imported using a CSV import.
Vendor price is $100. RRP is $200.
Item is updated, however we end up with the issue where Netsuite now says we are selling every metre for $200, ie the 20M roll will be sold for $4,000.
We really want the sale price to be set as $200/20 = $10

I'd like to be able to create a saved search or custom field on the item record that shows the CONVERSION RATE (in this case "20") for any given item.

Howdy, Stranger!
