3D Secure Verification - is anyone using it

The new 3D Secure Verification available on 2007.1 release.
Is anyone out there using it successfully?

We use payflow pro and would have to sign up for fraud protection and buyer protection to be able to use it.

I am wondering if it will be a turn off to customers, and we will lose customers by turning it on?

I assume in the future we will be forced to do it...
any feedback on this?
