AVS Street/Postcode Checks
Hi,
We take our orders over the phone, including customer credit card details at the time of order. We then get authorisation on these, and complete AVS checks at the same time. Occasionally payment authorisations fail because customers have given us the wrong billing address, usually because they have recently moved house or something similar. We then enter a new billing address for the customer, but doing this does not update the address and postcode/zip fields on the billing tab of the sales order. As these fields (ccstreet and cczipcode) are the ones sent to our payment processor, the authorisation continues
