Extension of Paypal Authorization Windows?

Sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseum, but we're really wanting to integrate Paypal as a form of tender in our checkout.

Problem is, we do have significant backorder issues and have custom orders that would basically require us to extend the authorization period for up to 2 months. Has anyone been able to extend their authorization windows with NS? If so, for how long? Any help is appreciated.
