Formula error in saved search

edited Mar 30, 2022 6:09PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hi Ivy,

This is a search we worked on together (Saved search issue with the quantity billed being for the whole company - Page 2 — Oracle NetSuite Support Community), I have 2 questions.

  • I have added columns to combine the results we had originally. I got them all to work except for the combined quantity sold (in red box below). I tried using SUM in the formula since it is the TYPE used in the original column, and MAX because that's what worked for everything else. Neither worked. Any Ideas?

  • This was created as a tool to quickly double-check the results of Demand Plan so the purchasing manager can quickly approve the purchase orders created. The quantity to order formulas do not accurately reflect how Demand Plan works I have discovered. The issue is with the Safety Stock. The formula is setup to always add the safety stock value to the total to be ordered which is incorrect. It's much more complicated than that.

Howdy, Stranger!
