Making Tax Digital (MTD): Reports > VAT/GST > Tax Reports (International) - submit in new currency
Hi,
I wanted to check the forum's opinion in here, in addition to our NetSuite partner.
We have setup a new accounting book in GBP currency in our Production and Sandbox environment. The reason being that we need to upload our UK Tax Reporting with HMRC by using the in-built NetSuite function for Making Tax Digital (MTD): Reports > VAT/GST > Tax Reports (International). And these records that we report need to be submitted in GBP currency (whereas our primary accounting book currency is SEK).
It seems to be a complex process to process historical transactions in NetSuite for the new accounting book (which we will need in order to report historical GBP data), and our partner is a bit reluctant to do this process.
