Can a default department be set/designated for all Asset Records when created?
We use the FAM asset proposal process to generate asset records. The account string on the asset payment request is coded to the home department/cost center which then is populated on the FA Record when generated. However, we want all depreciation to go to department 2000-Corporate Headquarters not the original home dept so we manually change the department on every single FA record.
Is there a way to automatically set a default department (2000) to be applied/override the home department when FA records are generated? Mapping? I've been told there is a way but found no information on how to set it up.
