How to create a Workflow Action Script to attach a file to a custom record
We have a custom record where we enter all Payroll Tax rates for all US jurisdictions. Each entry also has an official jurisdiction attachment (that is stored in the NetSuite File Cabinet) supporting the current rate.
These rates are used by our Development team to update our Payroll Tax engine.
Developers use JIRA to manage product development.
We prevent duplicate manual entry by leveraging a workflow to automatically create a NetSuite Issue that is integrated to JIRA.
Workflow:
Workflow State = Create Issue>Action =Create Record:
Workflow State = Create Issue>Action =Subscribe to Record:
NetSuite Issue automatically created from the workflow.
