I need the field name (hopefully it is available in Saved Search) that holds the email address that accompanies the To Be E-Mailed checkbox.
I need to clean up our database and clear the To Be Emailed, email addresses but need to get the field on a Saved Search so I can determine which are no longer valid then do a .csv upload to clear them from the Invoices.
We are using the Invoice Renew Button to create an Estimate. We update the Estimate and send through our approval process. After the Estimate is approved, we create a Sales Order, then the Invoice. We manually send invoices to the current customer AP contacts. Because our Estimate is a copy of the invoice, and the invoice had an old email address in this To Be E-Mailed address field, the new invoice inherits the old email address.
We recently began using "Download Items". Download Items>SuiteAnswer 28179 says "You can either make the file available immediately after purchase or make the download available in the Customer Center after billing is complete. If you choose to wait until billing is complete, customers are emailed a link to the Customer Center they can use to access the download." The email is sent upon Invoice Save. The email address the system uses to send this notification, is the email address in the field accompanying the To Be Emailed checkbox on the transaction, even though the checkbox is NOT checked on the Invoice & NOT checked on the Customer. (SuiteAnswer 107545 does not apply. We do not accept Customer payments through the Customer Center.)
In our case, we have ignored this To Be E-Mailed email address field historically because we manually emailed invoices and did not check the To Be Emailed box.
Now that we are using Download Items and emails are sent notifying the Customer the download file is available, I need to audit this email field and clear or update inactive email addresses to prevent sending to former/inactive contacts at customers
