Intercompany Transactions

Hi, I would like to pick the brain of intercompany experts. 

If company A pays a bill initially and then allocates the expense intercompany-wise to company B, C & D. What would be the ensuing transactions after the intercompany allocation was created that would allow company A to recover/request payment for the allocated expenses to B, C & D?

Would appreciate the help. Thanks!
