Sales tax calculation considering different shipping addresses
It is my understanding that sales tax is calculated on the standard customer ship to address.
I have product that may ship to a normal customer ship to address, but often I ship to a temporary location (an installer's location) who will later deliver and install the product at my customer's location. How can I ensure that customer is being taxed at their physical location, when I am temporarily shipping to an alternate shipto (the installer)?
Also, is there a way to add custom fields to the standard ship to address so that I can include additional data points like store number, etc.?
