changing costing method
I want to change my costing method from standard to average. I know I have to zero out my existing inventory and inactivate all items. Can I export all the items and fields associated with the item record in a saved search, then once exported, delete the internal ID, add the starting inventory and reimport the items, setting the accounting costing method to average prior to the import?
Also, will the existing item transactions and data stay intact?
