How to set up sales tax reporting with SuiteTax
I am trying to test out the use of SuiteTax in place of the legacy tax solution so that I can take advantage of the automated US state tax updates. I've got it all installed and have installed the Tax Reporting Framework, but now I am stuck. I went to Setup>Tax Reporting>Country Tax Reporting Preferences, but I get the error message:
"You will need to configure a subsidiary to access the Country Tax Reports Preferences page"
The link to the help page is not helpful. I cannot find any information anywhere on how to do this. There is nothing on the Subsidiary Preferences or the Subsidiary page to set this up. I'm not even sure if this reporting framework will provide the reports we need. When I installed the SuiteTax feature, it removed all of the sales tax liability reports, so now there is nothing for us to use to report what sales tax is due and what sales tax has been collected.
