How to set Employee records to Opt-In for bulk emails
I wanted to send an email to our NetSuite users regarding the upcoming upgrade to 2024.2. Not all of our employees use NetSuite and we don't maintain a distribution list outside of NetSuite of our NetSuite users. To avoid sending an email to all users, I created a Dynamic Group called NetSuite Users in NetSuite that returns the employees who have access to NetSuite. However, to send an email to this group, I had to check the Opt-Out Override box and specify a reason.
What field on employee records controls employee opt-in/opt-out status? Record Browser mentions a field called {globalsubscriptionstatus}, but that field doesn't exist in our instance.
