Best solution to set up sales orders to only charge taxes based on state and exempt status?
My client wants to move away from Avalara and move to NetSuite native tax option. The issue that I've run into is how to charge a customer sales tax by specific states based on exempt status. My client has customers that receive product to in several states and customer is exempt in some states. For example, customer receives goods in Louisiana and Texas, customer is tax exempt in Texas but should be charge sales taxes in Louisiana. What would be best solution to set up sales orders to only charge taxes based on state and exempt status?
