Adjusting font..

I think this situation may be difficult to articulate but I will do the best I can.

My company prints paper checks (yep) direct from NetSuite. The person in charge of printing the checks recently brought to my attention the spacing within the font is sometimes an issue for check scanners. When we first stood up NetSuite, we supplied the implementation team the fonts used for the previous accounting program (as they requested).

The implementation team is long gone and I have been asked to assist with modifying the font (or the spacing used).

I am open to any suggestion. Sadly we no longer have a sandbox so I do need to be precise. If there is a recommended font I should use, please let me know.
