Commission Schedule on Custom Column Field and Commissionable item Search not working
Good afternoon!
I'm working to setup a new Commission schedule, and having some difficulty.
Our goal is to pay commission that is a percent of the gross profit on an invoice.
- I've created a custom transaction column field ("Gross Profit ($)"), that is a currency type field, set to store value, and set to display on sale transactions.
- I've populated the field on all the applicable invoices in October (last month).
- I have created a Commissionable Item Saved Search to ensure some specific criteria are met and that only qualifying invoices get included for calculation. For testing purposes I've made this really simple: Any invoices, where the custom Gross Profit ($) field is not empty, and where the date is on or after 10/1/2024. The search (correctly) returns 36 results.
