Help Needed: Creating Non-Inventory Sale Item via REST API with Tax Schedule

Hi Community,

I'm facing an issue while creating a Non-Inventory Sale Item using the REST API:
/services/rest/record/v1/nonInventorySaleItem/

The request fails with the error:
"Please enter value(s) for: Tax Schedule."

However, when creating the item manually through the UI, the Tax Schedule is assigned without any issues.

Has anyone encountered this before? I need to create an item with a Tax Schedule using the API. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
