Review open support cases and inline edit support case details on the fly

Is there an out-of-the-box solution for teams to review open support cases and inline edit support case details on the fly? I ask because I've had to create a saved search for tracking support cases, but the options for field result connectivity is limited, and there is no option for making a non-main line search for support case records.
